Chief Product Officer at MetaMinds Group | Former Richemont's Head of Technology Innovation | Global Keynote Speaker

Twelve years securing luxury legacies. Now architecting Luxury's Next Operating Model.

From Digital Product Passports to voice-first agentic commerce, Pedro helps brands translate emerging technologies into strategic advantage, redefining how luxury and retail engage, convert, and build lasting value.

Strategy-first.
Execution-proven.

"A globally recognised visionary who bridges the gap between high-touch luxury heritage and frontier technology."

Pedro López-Belmonte is a technology strategist operating at the intersection of emerging technology and executive decision-making in luxury and retail.

For over twelve years at Richemont — home to Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, IWC and other Maisons — he led technology innovation initiatives focused on digital identity, blockchain, and product traceability, helping secure centuries-old legacies while preparing them for a new digital paradigm.

Today, as Chief Product Officer at MetaMinds Group, Pedro leads the development of the first voice-first agentic concierges for luxury retail, redefining the digital storefront as an intelligent, conversational interface. His work pioneers what is now emerging as a new operating model for luxury commerce: agentic, contextual, hyper-personalised and continuously learning.

Pedro's approach is strategic and pragmatic, grounded in execution. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, he has led frontier technology deployments inside global luxury groups, translating vision into operational systems at scale.

He defines the why and the how, aligns technology with business priorities, and drives implementation from concept to production. He is not a commentator on emerging technologies — he builds, tests, and operationalises them in real environments.

01
Agentic Commerce & the Compression of the Funnel
AI agents are collapsing discovery, evaluation, and purchase into a single conversational layer. What does this mean for brand control, distribution, and differentiation in luxury? Pedro brings both theoretical and practical insight — actively building voice-first agentic systems while examining their long-term implications for narrative authority and funnel compression.
02
Digital Product Identity & the Infrastructure of Trust
A pioneer of blockchain-native Digital Product Passports deployed at scale since 2018 across watches, jewellery, and fashion. Pedro reframes DPPs beyond compliance: not as regulatory burden, but as a structural layer for product identity, enabling lifecycle services, client engagement, resale strategy, and long-term brand value.
03
Visual Intelligence
Computer vision, spatial computing, and multimodal AI are transforming how products are discovered and experienced. Pedro applies visual intelligence as a strategic capability, connecting physical and digital environments into unified, data-rich ecosystems.
04
Luxury, Retail & The Emotion Economy
In luxury, technology is not only about efficiency — it is also about amplifying emotion, trust, and meaning. Pedro brings a human-centred lens to frontier technologies, asking a fundamental question: does this deepen the relationship between brand, product, and client?

We are witnessing a paradigm shift — for the first time since the digital revolution, technology is adapting to human ways: voice, conversation, visual intelligence, spatial presence. The paradigm is reversing. For luxury, this is not a channel question. It is an identity question. The brands that understand this will define the next century of desire.

Keynotes

Pedro's keynotes explore the human, technological, and infrastructural shifts reshaping society, and luxury and retail in particular. His perspective is grounded in his experience designing and deploying frontier systems inside complex organisations, moving emerging technologies from concept to operational reality.

At the intersection of the Human Turn in Technology, the Intelligence Layer, and the Living Product, he examines how brands redesign systems around trust, identity, and persistent relationships in the intelligence era.

I.
The Human Turn in Technology
A Paradigm Shift in the Relationship Between Humans and Systems
Voice interfaces, conversational flows, visual intelligence, holographic devices. For decades, humans adapted to machines. For the first time, technology is meeting humans where they are — through natural language, gesture, and context. This paradigm shift redefines the design of experiences, relationships, and commerce. Leadership changes fundamentally. Emotion, trust, and presence become the new design materials.
II.
The Intelligence Layer
How AI Agents Are Rewriting the Interface Between Brands and Consumers
AI agents are reshaping how retail is navigated, recommended, and transacted. But in luxury, intelligence without trust is insufficient. Digital Product Identity provides the verified foundation that makes agentic systems credible, grounding recommendation in authenticated product truth. These are not parallel or isolated trends — they are converging forces, and their intersection will redefine how luxury brands engage, sell, and sustain authority in an intelligence-mediated world.
III.
The Living Product
From Verified Product Truth to Persistent Brand Ecosystems
Products are no longer static objects exchanged at the point of sale. They are becoming verifiable, connected entities embedded within broader ecosystems. Digital Product Identity transforms the product into a transversal pipeline, enabling ecosystems of services built around ownership and relationship. Ownership evolves from a transaction into an ongoing, data-rich connection between brand, product, and client — enabling lifecycle services, third-party authorisation & trusted interactions through DPPs.

Pedro's DPP programme at Richemont — pioneered from 2018 — is one of the most significant real-world blockchain deployments in the luxury sector. Six prestige watchmaking maisons now carry their entire yearly production on-chain. He extended this work to jewellery & fashion, giving him a rare cross-category perspective that few practitioners globally can claim.

As CPO at MetaMinds Group since March 2025, he continues to validate his strategic frameworks through the development of next-generation agentic and immersive experiences for luxury and retail brands.
